A true nomad of soundscapes, he is today considered an African treasure by his peers. Born in Senegal, Remna Schwarz has lived in countries like Congo, Mali,Senegal, Guinea, Cape Verde France, Cuba or even the USA. Remna performed in the year 2018 at the “South By Southwest Festival” in Texas, the largest music showcase of the American continent, receiving great reviews such as the one by Wobean Music,which dubbed his music “Great Pan African Music”.

REMNA composes for artists such as Karyna Gomes, Eneida Marta, Fernando Ferreira and produced in collaboration with Poundo the soundtrack for the series MANJAK which premiered on CANAL + AFRIQUE in October 2021 and which won the prestigious UBUNTU D’OR (Ubuntu of Gold) award for the best African series at the international African Film Festival in Paris.

After having released NTCHOLOLO, a song inspired by one of Guinea Bissau’s Carnival songs, illustrating the masks that each of us wears in society, and DANCE N PRAISE U, featuring Éllàh, Remna brings us his latest EP “Gaabu” released by Deedo Records.
