Fórum Lisboa will host, on November 19, the show ‘A música tradicional portuguesa na obra de Zeca Afonso’, featuring several artists, including the Moçoilas.

This initiative aims to mark the influences of traditional music in the work of José Afonso, as well as the role he had as a protagonist, creator and constant innovator of popular Portuguese music, whose musical work inspired by traditional music was, and continues to be, one of the main stimuli for the emergence of new authors and performers to this day.

Besides the Algarve band Moçoilas, this event counts with the participation of Brigada Victor Jara, Janita Salomé and Miguel Calhaz.

This show is promoted by Associação José Afonso and starts at 16h00.
